How 'bout them apples

I really love the midwest in the Fall. There are so many fantastic things to do with little ones. Last year we had an incredible time picking apples with friends so we knew we had to try it again this year. A lot has changed though since last year. The biggest change, Lucy arrived. And that makes outings...well...interesting. We also changed farms this year, which wasn't a bad move but I think I liked the place we went last year better. The weather was not very nice on Wednesday and last year, well the weather was picture perfect and glorious. We still managed to have fun and eat more than our fair share of apples. We were glad to share our day with my friend Jen and her kiddos K and D. But boy we really missed you Erin and EJ. And you too Jen and Hannah.

Enough from me, I'll let the pictures do the talking. Lots of pictures to do the talking.

I really love this one.
And this one melts my heart. It's just screaming "childhood" to me.
Oh babe. Might be a new fav Lucy pic. That srunched up nose...oh....

And the photographic evidence that Jen and I were there....

Oh how I love you Fall. And Dayton, Ohio. And you too, sweet children of mine.

We missed you guys too. Maybe at another point in our lives we can all meet up to pick apples again. It looks like you all had a lovely time though. Hard to imagine that 50% of the kiddos weren't even around last year. Time sure does change things. You will have to tell Jen that K's hair is so cute in the pigtails!
