The Grizzlies

Since December, every Thursday and Saturday, Mike has been coaching Brady's basketball team, The Grizzlies. Basketball with first and second graders is the cutest thing ever. I loved going to their practices and games.  Our team was full of many of our good friends plus a few new friends who we are so glad to know.  I remembered to bring my camera to Saturday's game and got a few pictures of these cute kiddos in action. Sadly, their last game is on Thursday, I really enjoyed watching these kiddos play!

Rewind

to January 25th.  Brady's 7th Birthday.

Of course the morning started off with the traditional Birthday donut.

After a fun day at school that ended with a early dismissal, he came home and opened his present from Mema......
An iPod touch!!!!!!  Let's just say he was over the moon excited.
Aiden, also an iPod touch owner, was over to give him so tips.

No Birthday post would be complete without a picture of what they were doing at the exact moment of their birth! 6:17pm

This 6:17 was a bit unique as he was "FaceTiming" with my Mom, their beloved Mema. I'm glad they were all together at 6:17 and as together as they could be with Mema, even if it was over an iPod.

Brady received a new, fantastic big bike from Grandma and Grandpa Zollars for his Birthday. I know he's looking forward to the warmer weather but surprisingly he's been out on it several times, despite the fact that's it's winter!

A week after his Birthday was our traditional First Friday with the neighbors. We took this opportunity (just like with Lucy and Macy) to make some cupcakes and celebrate again with dear friends.

Happy Birthday dear Brady.  Seven blessed years.

The Winter Blues

Like the last two winters here in Maryland, we haven't had much "winter".  It seems though that those winter blues still happen.

So why not cure those blues with some extra ordinary indoor play.

 Yes, that's shaving cream!

When they've had enough of the mess, we turn the water on for a bath.

Followed up by a long winter's nap.  And that, my friends, is a sure way to cure the winter blues.
