Mema was here

We were so delighted and feeling blessed when my Mom came out to stay with us for two weeks.  We didn't do that much out of the ordinary this visit.  She did get to see and do so many things at the kids school and their after school activities.  Its safe to say we all had a great time.  Is it July yet because we sure do miss her!

The girls came with me late at night to pick her up at the airport

She was here for a week of so-so weather and then a week of absolutely gorgeous weather!

We checked out some places just down the street from our house.

Disneyland Round up - Character time

My favorite thing (still) about Disneyland is watching the kids (especially Lucy) meet the characters.  Brady really only likes to meet the classic characters (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto), the girls though, (again, especially Lucy) like to meet all of them!  Recently we've met quite a few unique friends!  Here's a character round up from our last view visits....

Pinocchio and Geppetto

Friar Tuck

We always have to visit with one Toy Story character.  It's a requirement.

Snow White, of course.

Robin Hood

Big hug from Jessie

Peter Pan

Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar

These next few with the Wicked Stepmother and Stepsisters are classic.

The girls have lucked out and had the opportunity to visit with Anna and Elsa from Frozen twice.  I waited in line for 90 minutes which relatively speaking, wasn't that bad.  People have been waiting over 4 hours to visit with these characters.  Here are quite a few shots from our most recent visit with these newly beloved characters.

And if you were wondering, they both are wearing beautiful Anna dresses made by Casey at Blue Ribbon Dresses.  We are in love with these dresses and have already been repeat customers to pick up an Elsa dress for Macy (see picture below with Mickey, Lucy in Anna, Macy in Elsa).  These dresses are lovingly made, full of special details, soft, high quality and my favorite part, they girls can actually move and play in them without fear of ripping them, tripping on them, etc.  We get compliment after compliment about these special dresses each time they are worn to the park or just around town.  If you are in the market for a princess dress, check Casey's shop out first.  Trust me, we have the fancy dresses from The Disney Store and big money was spent on them but these dresses are ten times ten better than those.  And to make them even more appealing, Casey donates every single penny she earns from these dresses to fight against colon cancer.  *

Thanks for stopping by our little blog today, we'll see ya real soon.

*just honest words about Blue Ribbon Dresses from a fan, I was not paid to review these dresses.

It wouldn't be my blog if there weren't more Disney pictures

It's been 7 months since we first got our Disneyland Annual Passes.  I've lost track of how many times we have gone.  It's in the 20's.  Yes.  You'd think we would tire of it but the magic of Disney is, it never get's old.  There is always something new.

Here's a roundup of pictures from the past few months.  Actually, just a round up of non-Character pictures!  Soooo many character pictures to share too!
Macy and I are on her favorite, Casey Jr.

First time on Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland.  It's been closed since December 2012.

We've been enjoying our Annual Passes with our friend Elizabeth, and her Mom.
