the first of many

posts about Christmas.

These pictures are for you, Mema and Pop-Pop, Grandma and Grandpa.  Wish we all could be together.

Looking just precious in the dress Grace wore for Christmas in 2007.  More hand me downs that we love.

 Snow on this Christmas morning!

Saved my favorite picture for last!
Happy, happy Christmas.

Christmas cookies.

This past weekend I took a special trip to Pittsburgh with just Macy to attend my sister's graduation from graduate school.

While I was away, Mike was busy with the littles, making more Christmas memories.

Mike found a technique for painting the cookies with egg whites/food coloring.  They turned out really great!

I took some close ups of the cookies when I got home!  This one was my favorite.  You can see why :)

Thank you Mike for being such a great Dada to these three sweet little ones.

Hannah-me-downs

Our wonderful friends, The Zaisers, who we have known since 2006, have gifted us with many of their daughter Hannah's clothes that she has outgrown.  We call them Hannah Me Down's
Lucy's outfit and Macy's outfit were both Christmas outfits of Hannah's.

Lucy's reindeer shirt is a Hannah me down and Macy's outfit belonged to Lucy.
These are just a few examples of some of the sweet outfits we have received from them.  I love seeing my girls in Hannah's clothes, I can remember Hannah wearing most of these outfits when she was younger and it makes me smile seeing Lucy and Macy wearing them now.  Thank you, Steve, Jen and Hannah for our Hannah me downs.  We wear with with love.

Dance Moves

Poor babe, looks like she has inherited my dance moves!

And yes, that's me in the background.  Being a dork.  It's what I do best.

Thankful

Before I forget, here are the details of our beautiful Thanksgiving weekend in Pittsburgh with my family.

(this picture is included because I want to remember that Brady didn't want to wear his shirt, if you know my son, he doesn't like to wear clothes. So I told him as soon as I took a few pictures he could take his long sleeve shirt off, he decided to take both his long sleeve and his under shirt off)

S.W. Randall's Toy Store.  Best. toy. store. ever.

Thankful for these memories, these moments.  It was a magical weekend for all of us.
