is find your camera and laugh. It sure is magical watching little ones discover their world. Even silly things like toilet paper.
Reminded me of this pic of Brady discovering toilet paper in December of 2006. This picture also made me laugh because our bathroom in our Bellbrook house was hilarious in a charming(ugly) way, look at those cabinets!
Hope you find something magical in your world this weekend.
Dayton, Ohio is a lovely place to raise a family, I can't say it enough. So many wonderful things to do and many of these wonderful things happen at the Metro Parks. On Thursday we went to a program called The Awesome Pumpkin at Possum Creek Farm Metro Park and it did not disappoint. Brady and his friend K listened to a story, did two crafts, played a game, ate pumpkin snacks and picked two pumpkins. ALL FREE. Oh how I will miss you, Dayton.
We got to feed Quervo, the donkey, some leftover pumpkin cookies. Rosie, the horse, wanted some too!
I really love the midwest in the Fall. There are so many fantastic things to do with little ones. Last year we had an incredible time picking apples with friends so we knew we had to try it again this year. A lot has changed though since last year. The biggest change, Lucy arrived. And that makes outings...well...interesting. We also changed farms this year, which wasn't a bad move but I think I liked the place we went last year better. The weather was not very nice on Wednesday and last year, well the weather was picture perfect and glorious. We still managed to have fun and eat more than our fair share of apples. We were glad to share our day with my friend Jen and her kiddos K and D. But boy we really missed you Erin and EJ. And you too Jen and Hannah.
Enough from me, I'll let the pictures do the talking. Lots of pictures to do the talking.
I really love this one. And this one melts my heart. It's just screaming "childhood" to me. Oh babe. Might be a new fav Lucy pic. That srunched up nose...oh....
And the photographic evidence that Jen and I were there....
Oh how I love you Fall. And Dayton, Ohio. And you too, sweet children of mine.
