PCS season has arrived again and sadly, for us, the time has come to say "see you soon" to some forever friends. Friends we have known since 2006 when our lives just included one child. We helped each other figure out the whole parenting game and watched our babies turn to toddlers and then to school age kiddos. The little ones went from being "forced" friends to true friends. These friends will hold some of Brady's earliest memories because Hannah has been part of many, many fun adventures in his early years. Halloween, Christmas, Valentines' Day parties...apple picking, pumpkin picking, hay rides, and just playdates where friendships grew over legos and markers. For the past 6 years, these friends have been constant in our life. We didn't say goodbye to them in Dayton, we said, "see you in a few months" in this crazy part of the country that DC/MD/VA is. Now it is time for them to move away. Our hearts will hold onto the memories and hopefully the Air Force will let us cross paths again.
Our last adventure together....a day in our Nation's Capital. First stop, The Butterfly Pavilion at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.

You can't take the kids to the National Mall without a ride on The 1947 Allan Herschell Carousel.
We are so blessed to know these people. So very blessed. Best wishes Zaiser family, until we meet again.
*I got a little nervous writing this post because in just 11 short months it will be us moving. Ugh.
