Spring Break....Part 2

Beautiful weather and busy schedules have kept me from blogging!  Time to get back to it!
After our time in Pittsburgh, we drove to Dayton, Ohio to stay with Mike's Parents.  Gorgeous weather followed us there and we spent most of our time outside!

We went to Carriage Hill Metro Park...perhaps my most favorite of the Metro Parks...or well, maybe Wergerzyn...no Cox Arboretum...ok, they all are my favorite!

The kids found a very friendly cat while checking out the farm....

And the creek, oh this boy loves the creek....by the end of our time there he had fallen in twice and was completely soaked!

I love the barn and the windmill. How couldn't you?

Another day we colored Easter Eggs.

And soccer was an ongoing activity while we were there.
 Somebody got a haircut.
 Baths in the big tub.
And a visit to Shoup Park, a favorite among littles thanks to this super huge, amazing slide.
It was St. Patty's Day and Lucy is sporting a shirt that once belonged to Brady.

And this post wouldn't be complete without another picture of Macy sticking her tounge out.  She's trained now, she sees a camera and we see her tounge!

I hope today finds you well, wherever you may be reading from. Enjoy the spring blooming around you.

ahhh... You made me tear-up. I spent my summer days on that Slide. Love the photos. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the rundown of the parks, Jenny! We'd been to the farm and the gardens, but never to the one with the slide! Now we'll know where we need to stop first! :)
